Conditions.

These terms apply to every quote we give and every order we produce, unless we have signed a separate written agreement with you that says otherwise.

Placing an order means accepting them. If something here does not work for your organisation, tell us before you order and we will discuss it.

• The estimate calculator on this site is exactly that: an estimate. It cannot see your geometry, and geometry drives cost more than weight does. It is not an offer and it does not bind either of us.
• A written quote from us, issued after we have reviewed your actual model, is valid for 30 days unless it says otherwise.
• A quote assumes the model as reviewed. If you change the model, the material, the finish or the quantity, the quote changes with it.
• If reviewing your file reveals something that materially changes the cost — a wall that will not survive handling, geometry that needs far more support than expected — we will come back to you before doing anything, not after.

By sending us a model you confirm that you own it, or that you have permission to have it manufactured.

We do not police this, but we do rely on it. If a third party makes a claim against us because a part we printed for you infringed their rights, you agree to cover the cost of dealing with that claim.

Your files remain yours. What we do with them is set out in our Privacy Policy.

We decline work in these categories, without exception and without argument:

• functional firearms, firearm components, or anything designed to be used as a weapon;
• counterfeit goods, forged parts, or anything carrying a trademark you do not own;
• items designed to defeat a lock, a safety mechanism or a security device;
• anything unlawful under Indian law.

We may also decline work we consider unsafe, and we will explain why rather than just refusing.

This section exists so nobody is surprised. Additive manufacturing is not injection moulding and does not behave like it.

• Dimensional tolerance is approximately ±0.2 mm or ±0.2% of the nominal dimension on FDM, whichever is greater, and approximately ±0.05 mm on resin. Tighter tolerances on a specific feature are possible, but must be agreed in writing before we print.
• Layer lines are visible on FDM parts. That is the process, not a defect. If you need a smooth surface, order a finishing option.
• Strength is directional. An FDM part is significantly stronger along its layers than across them. We orient parts for the load path where you tell us how the part is loaded.
• Colour varies between material batches and between materials. If exact colour matching matters, order a painted finish to a specified code.
• Support contact points leave marks. We place supports to keep them off visible faces where the geometry allows, but they have to go somewhere.

None of the above counts as a defect.

Production starts once you approve the quote and specification. After that point:

• Before printing starts, changes are usually free. Ask.
• Once a print is running, we cannot change it. A change means scrapping the part and restarting, and the material and machine time already used is chargeable.
• Revisions to your model after approval are a new job, quoted separately — usually at a reduced rate, since the setup already exists.

Lead times we give are working estimates made in good faith, and we hit them the overwhelming majority of the time.

They are not guarantees. Printing is a physical process: a failed print at hour fourteen, a material batch that arrives wet, or a machine that needs recalibration will move a date. We will tell you as soon as we know, not on the day it was due.

If you have a hard deadline, say so when you order and we will tell you honestly whether we can meet it.

• Orders under ₹10,000 are payable in full before dispatch.
• Larger orders and production runs are typically 50% on approval and 50% before dispatch, unless we have agreed account terms with you in writing.
• Prices are in Indian Rupees and exclude delivery unless the quote says otherwise. Applicable taxes are added at the prevailing rate.
• We do not release goods before cleared payment.

• We pack parts to survive courier handling, with fragile geometry supported in foam.
• Risk passes to you on delivery. Title passes on full payment.
• Delivery dates are estimates; once a parcel is with a courier its timing is outside our control.
• Check your parcel on arrival. Transit damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, with photographs of the packaging as well as the parts — without the packaging we cannot make a courier claim.

Every order is inspected before it leaves the lab.

• If a part deviates from the approved model or from the tolerances we agreed, we reprint it at our cost. Tell us within 7 days of delivery.
• If the part matches the approved model but the model itself needs to change, that is a normal part of prototyping and we will quote the revision.
• Please do not modify, paint or attempt to repair a part you intend to claim on — we need to see it as it arrived.

Our liability for a defective part is limited to reprinting it or refunding what you paid for it, at our option.

• Cancel before printing starts and you pay only for design or file-preparation work already done.
• Cancel after printing starts and the material and machine time consumed is chargeable.
• Because everything we make is custom to your specification, orders are not returnable once correctly produced. Nothing here affects rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Printed parts supplied by us are not certified for, and must not be used in:

• load-bearing or safety-critical applications where failure could cause injury;
• medical, dental or surgical use on a patient — anatomical models we supply are for education, teaching and planning discussions only;
• food or drink contact, including anything intended to be washed in a dishwasher;
• aerospace, automotive braking, steering, or any regulated safety system.

We will happily print a prototype for any of the above. A prototype is not a certified component, and you accept responsibility for that distinction.

We treat your project as confidential by default. We will sign your NDA on request, and we will not publish, display or describe your work without your written permission.

We ask the same in return for any process detail, pricing or technique we share with you in the course of the work.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — lost profit, lost contracts, delay to your own project, or the cost of work you commissioned elsewhere in reliance on our lead time.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Madurai, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
