An interior designer wanted a statement pendant that read as timber but followed a geometry no lathe could produce.
02 / Design
A parametric petal pattern was wrapped around a conical shell with wall thickness tuned to 1.2 mm, thin enough to glow and thick enough to hold its shape at 480 mm.
03 / Printing Process
Printed in four segments in wood-filled PLA at 0.24 mm with vase-adjacent settings, then sanded through three grits and finished with a penetrating oil.
04 / Final Result
The joins disappear under the oil finish. Six more units were ordered for the same project within a month.
